Accessibility Statement for Vitamin Green
Last updated: 30 October 2025
Our commitment
Vitamin Green is committed to providing an accessible experience for all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and follow industry best practices throughout our content, design, and development workflows. W3C+1
In India, accessibility in information and communication technologies (ICT) is supported by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and related guidance. We align our efforts with these expectations and relevant Indian standards
Standards we target
-
WCAG 2.2 Level AA (current target). W3C+1
-
We monitor Indian guidance/standards such as IS 17802 (BIS) and public sector practice under GIGW 3.0 (which references WCAG Level AA). standardsbis.bsbedge.com+2broadbandindiaforum.in+2
Known limitations and workarounds
Third-party embeds & off-site flows: Payment (Paytm) and shipment-tracking (Shiprocket) occur via external components/pages that we don’t fully control. We select reputable providers, but some accessibility behaviors may differ from our site. If you encounter issues in these flows, contact us and we’ll assist.
Older media/PDFs (if any): We aim to provide accessible PDFs and captions/transcripts for future media. For legacy files, we’ll replace or provide an alternative on request.
Skip-to-content link: We are adding a visible “Skip to main content” control to improve keyboard navigation across all pages.
Touch target sizes: Some legacy icons/links may fall below the new Target Size (Minimum) criterion; these are being standardized.
Feedback & contact
If you experience any accessibility barriers, please tell us:
Email: support@vitamingreen.in
Postal: Vitamin Green Organics, A3/35, Janakpuri, New Delhi, India
We aim to acknowledge accessibility queries within 7 business days and provide a resolution or plan within 30 days.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD) and/or the State Commissioner (Delhi). Complaints can be filed online via the CCPD Case Management Portal or by email/post
Conformance status
Status: Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
This means many parts of the site meet Level AA; some elements are not yet fully compliant. We continuously improve based on testing and feedback. W3C
Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
Our site is built on Wix and is intended to work with current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers, including with screen readers (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
Technical specifications
Accessibility of Vitamin Green relies on: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, JavaScript rendered via Wix. External services include Paytm (payments), Shiprocket (logistics), Google Analytics/Search Console (analytics).
Assessment approach (how we test)
-
Automated checks: Wix Accessibility Wizard and standard automated audits. support.wix.com
-
Manual checks: Keyboard-only navigation; logical focus order; form labeling & error hints; link purpose; color-contrast spot checks; reflow/zoom at 200–400%; mobile testing.
-
Content QA: Alt text for meaningful images; headings/landmarks; language attributes.
Measures to support accessibility
-
Use of Wix accessibility features (semantic HTML, keyboard operability, focus indicators, language attributes) and the Wix Accessibility Wizard to detect and fix issues. wix.com+1
-
Design reviews against WCAG 2.2 patterns (focus visibility, target size, consistent help, redundant entry avoidance). W3C+2W3C+2
-
Internal checklists for images/alt text, headings/landmarks, link purpose, form labels/errors, color contrast, and keyboard testing.
Continuous improvement plan
-
Within 30 days: Add visible Skip to content link; confirm focus is not obscured by sticky headers/footers; standardize icon buttons so Label in Name matches visible text. W3C
-
Within 60–90 days: Normalize minimum interactive target size across templates; review older images for alt text; ensure help/contact is consistently placed (header/footer) across pages. W3C+1
-
Ongoing: Re-scan with the Wix Accessibility Wizard after every major release; periodic manual keyboard/screen-reader checks.
Platform & provider notes (transparency)
-
Wix provides built-in accessibility features (keyboard operability, DOM order, semantics, focus ring, language attribute) and an Accessibility Wizard for issue detection. wix.com+1
-
We follow WCAG 2.2 updates and WAI’s practical guidance when refining content/components. W3C

In India, RPwD Act 2016 underlines equal digital access; public sector practice via GIGW 3.0 emphasizes WCAG Level AA. Private companies are increasingly expected to align; regulators have recently enforced compliance.
